Description: The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra is celebrating 60 years of orchestrating a legacy of excellence by embarking on an extraordinary journey—the TITAN Project. In this anniversary season, we’re bringing Mahler's Symphony No. 1 to audiences across New Brunswick showcasing the extraordinary talent and dedication of our young musicians. The NBYO has been shaping the lives of young musicians for six decades and instilling cultural pride across New Brunswick. Playing Mahler represents a unique challenge of complexity, energy, and skill. But it is not only a singular accomplishment for individual musicians, it is also a source of pride for our entire province. The TITAN Project represents a historic accomplishment, as performing Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 is an ambitious undertaking that very few youth orchestras in the world would attempt, let alone bring to audiences across an entire region.
